Mt. Fuji seen from Village Oshino

I hear Oshino became well-known to many people
as the original scenery of Japanese mind with Fuji,
by OKADA Kohyoh, a pioneer of photographer in Japan.

Village Oshino, about 940 m above sea level, is located on the northeast of Mt. Fuji
and is abundant in spring water such as Oshino-hakkai.

I visited here on Dec. 12, 2008.

Fuji was seen over the brook.
Joining the stream from Lake Yamanaka this brook becomes the Katsura river.
Then, it passes by Fujiyoshida, Tsuru, Ohtsuki, and Uenohara cities and
grows into the Sagami river after it passes by Lake Sagami, and it flows into Sagami Bay.
