Fuji seen from Hiratsuka

I visited Hiratsuka on April 05, 2008.

Firstly, let me show you "Hiratsuka (Nawatedo)" in "Fifty-three stages of the Tokaido"
by UTAGAWA Hiroshige.

In this picture are drawn Mt. Fuji and Komayama Hill.

Large Komayama hill, modest Mt. Fuji and Mt. Ohyama on the right side.
Hanamizu bridge is drawn in the left front of the Komayama hill.

"The Gate vestige of Hiratsuka stage on the way to Kyoto" is on the intersection "Old Hanamizu bridge"
which is located east of gHanamizu bridgeh on the national road Route 1.

I soon confirmed the position of the Fuji and Komayama hill near the "The Gate vestige of Hiratsuka stage".

I could confirm the Fuji and distinctive appearance of Komayama hill.
If taken from the left side a little more, Fuji would grow like "the Fuji in the picture of Hiroshige".

If Komayama, Fuji and Ohyama would be put into a picture, it will be like the next photo.

The left edge is a part of Komayama, the right edge is Ohyama

In Hiratsuka I could confirm the appearance of Fuji seen from the east.

Secondly, let me show you "Sohshu Nakahara " in "Fugaku Thirty-six Scenery" by KATSUSHIKA Hokusai.

The course of visiting Ohyama from Hiratsuka would be as follows.

After starting from the Tokaido Hiratsuka stage located at about 600m west of the current Hiratsuka Station,
we pass through Nakahara-shimojuku, Nakahara-kamijuku, then pass over the Ohnawa Bridge,
and through Toyoda-hongo, Konabeshima, Ohshima, Shimoya, Kamiya Shimo-Kasuya, Isehara,
Koyasu, and finally we reach Ohyama.

It is said that the mountain in front of Fuji is Mt. Ohyama.

@I saw Fuji and  Ohyama from the vicinity of Nakahara elementary school in Hiratsuka city avoiding the pylons and electric wires on April 5,2008. Due to lack of research, I could not identify the spot.

I saw Fuji and Ohyama at the bank of Nanbara west of Nakahara elementary school.
