Visit to the Garden of "Shuon-an Ikkyu-ji Temple"
I visited here on November 20, 2008.

The garden of the Hohjoh "the Abbot's Hall" consists of the south garden, the east garden, and the north garden.

You would see azalea, sasanqua and cycad in the garden.
The house "Kannondoh"over the hedge is the mausoleum grave where Priest Ikkyu-zenji is enshrined.

The north garden is a dry landscape garden where the dry waterfall is represented by stone formation.
Because of the strong sunlight this image became contrasty. It's a problem that I should master.
At last, I was able to escape from the strength of the sunlight and felt relaxed.
I could enjoy the burning autumn colors.
