Shisendoh Mountain Villa

I visited Shisendoh Garden on May 18, 2008.
Passing through the Gate "Shohyudoh", Rohbaikan Gate, Shisen Room, we see South Garden.
From the Hallway of Shoin (main guest room) we see the southeastern side of the Garden with round cut azalea.
New green color of maples at the back gorund are fresh and vivid.
From the triangular gallery made of bamboo we see East Garden with Chohzu-bachi & a stone tower.
From the lower stage of the garden we see Shohgetsuroh where you can see town & sreets of Kyoto.
From the lower stage of the garden we see Shohgetsuroh.
You will enjoy various kinds of flowers of four seasons.
Here are so many old maples, you can enjoy maple-viewing in atumn.
