South China Botanic Garden

29.Sep.2000, I visited South China Botanic Garden (28 Route)

Let me show you landscape of front gate and front garden after entering.

Academia Sinica / South China Botanic garden is situated in Long Dong, the northeastern suburb of Guangzhou,
which is the largest botanic gardens with total area of 300 ha in lower sub tropics of China and was established in1956.

Plants groups were very impressive to me, which are the characteristic scenery in South China,
such as palm garden, bamboo grove, orchids garden, cycads garden and shade plants garden.

Walking from the front gate to the left, followed the path of Roystonea regia.
The degree of temperature and moisture were high, it was moist with sweat as our walking,
but the shadow of palm trees alleviated the heat for a while.

Let me show you total map of the garden. I tried to find maple trees from South Asia at Gymnosperms Garden,
but failed in vain. It was a pity.
