I visited Daitokuji Temple Ryohgen-in Garden on May 18, 2008.
Let me show you Ryohgin-tei, Isshidan, Tohtekiko and Godatei.
Firstly, the north garden Ryohgin-tei garden.

  A view from the west

North Garden "Ryohgin-tei" of the Muromachi Period, Shumisen-style Dry Landscape Garden of Sanzon-Iwagumi

Another view says it is not Shumisen but Dry Waterfall, and the other
  regards
a series of stones among the moss as a dragon emerging from clouds.
