Various figures of Fuji seen from Numazu city
When you see Fuji from the central part of Numazu city,
the most part of Fuji is covered by Ashitaka and you can see its mountaintop.
When you go to the west from the central part of the city,
you can see Fuji with the beautiful left ridge line.
When going to the east, you can watch Fuji with the beautiful right ridge line.
And going to the south, you will reach the northwest shore of Izu,
you can look up at the whole figure of beautiful Fuji over Suruga gulf.

Next, let's go to the west.
When you go to the west through Tokaido, as the ridgeline of Mt. Ashitaka goes down,
vast Fuji gradually and suddenly comes to be seen.
And Hara is the very place.
I imagine that the "joy and hope" did let the painters in those days have drawn
the top of Fuji over the picture frame.

As the ridgeline of Mt. Ashitaka goes down, vast Fuji gradually comes to be seen.
Then, when you go to the south from the central part of Numazu city,
you can see another world that is different from the landscape seen in the Tokaido.
When you go south from the central part of the city, after passing through Goyohtei memory park,
Ohkubonohana, the Kuchino crossing along Enoura cove,
you will see Awashima forward on the right hand.
And, Fuji showed again the appearance over Suruga Bay after changing the image.
There is nothing hiding the figure of Fuji afterwards.
When seen from the northern coast of Izu,
the ridgeline of Mt. Ashitaka seems to be in harmony with the ridgeline of Fuji.
When we go to the west from Uchiura coast, after passing through Nishiura coast, we will reach Osezaki.
From there, going to the south through the west coast of Izu, after passing through Ita,
we will reach Heda at last.

Let us go to the south on the prefectural road Route 17 from Osezaki
located on the northwest end of Izu Peninsula.
First, Fuji seen from Ita.
Going south on prefectural road Route 17 and after you passed through the Ita tunnel,
you would see Mt Fuji.
