Hakuba-mura is a village with a population of 9,000,
and fields and a forest spread among mountains.
Here is rich in nature (things natural) and farm products.
If we do not expect even urban stimulation and entertainment,
this place has the best living environment to live spiritually rich and to spend a healthy life.

4. Scenery in autumn in the middle of October
The following is scenery of Hakuba village on October 8, 2011.
That morning the mountains reflected on the surface of the water in Happoh-ike pond were clean.

On October 14, I went to "Kama-ike pond" famous for its scene of colored leaves in Otari village.
It was fine and calm that morning. Scene where the trees which turned red and yellow
were reflected on the surface of the water like the mirror was so beautiful as to be dazzled.

The color of the fields of the foreground changes seasonally, and shows the beautiful contrast with the mountains.

5. Scenery in autumn in the end of October
The colored leaves are beautiful in particular,
so you would be fascinated by red and yellow colors reflected on the surface of the lake
against the background of Mt. Shirouma-dake.
The image of sunlight shaken by the ripples of the surface of the water might remind you of the world of Lavelle or Debussy.
The morning scenery on October 27, Japanese pampas grasses "Susuki" are shaking backed by Mt. Goryu-dake.

You would be able to see Mt. Fuji from the trekking course of Mt. Happohne and Mt. Hakuba-Goryu.
View from Mt. Kotohmi-yama, Mt. Fuji could be seen in the right side in this picture.
6. Scenery in late autumn at the beginning of November
"Lake Aoki" is to the south of Hakuba-mura.
It has high transparency and looks mysterious, and lets you feel as if you were in North Europe.
My favorite Lake Aokiko, I feel as if I were listening to melody of Sibelius and Grieg.

Lastly, let me show you "Impromptus HAKUBA"
"Impromptus HAKUBA" is in Hakuba-mura village Kita-Azumi-gun Nagano Pref.
It is a stay type studio mainly for piano exercise, and it opened in the spring of 2010.
"Impromptus HAKUBA" has 4 grand pianos with soundproofing facilities and 4 rooms for stay.
The owner, an acquaintance of mine, Mr. Yamaguchi is a worldwide piano tuner with experience more than 25 years.
And what is felt most comfortable above all is a refreshing, transparent bracing air-feeling.
So, the pianos will sound clearly in such a place.
