Autumn colours in Wales in 2014
This time, I received the images of Fall colours in 2014 from Mr. Graham living in Wales United Kingdom.
Let me introduce Mr. Graham to my HP friends.
He was born in January 1958, at the small mining village of Glyncorrwg, about 12 miles north of Port Talbot, on the South Wales coast. He lives in a street called Heol-y-Deryn, called "road of the birds", which seems to be one of the most picturesque areas anywhere in Wales.
He was born with a spinal defect called "hemi-vertebrae". So, he cannot do many physical things, but it has not stopped him persuading his many interests. He spent many years as a mechanic, and was a keen motorcyclist, restoring many old motorcycles including his pride and joy, a 650 triumph Bonneville.
He has always been interested in the great outdoors, he loves wildlife and plants especially trees.
He says "I am keen on photography but certainly not a professional." He likes taking landscapes and birds.
About 30 years ago he bought his first cut leaf maple, and then he got the palmatum from a friend several years later, and he says "I have been hooked ever since".
"It seems to be catching on in Wales with Japanese maples cropping up everywhere, it's no surprise really, as they are truly exquisite with their wonderful leaf shapes and most of them have spectacular autumn colours" he says.
