I visited Ofuna Botanical Garden on Sep. 30, 2005
to observe the cultivated form of Acer
morifolium.
Firstly, let me show you the total picture of the garden.
You can see many kinds of cultivated forms of Japanese maples
at
the left part of the following
map.
I asked the office of the main building where Acer morifolium is located.
In the following figure, the location is the yellow dot,
which is the right side of the main passage on the right side of the lower left pond.
I took a picture of the whole view of Acer morifolium from the Pond side.
The panel had the following explanation.
It is
called 'Wakisakanishiki', a cultivated form of Acer
capillipes var. morifolium.
Secondly, I will show you the images of leaves that have whitish spots.

Lastly, images of the samaras & the trunk !
