A friend of mine Mr. Tohru Yamazaki offered me photos, which were taken
in Takayama in November 2000, showing trees aflame with red leaves in Takayama.
I took a saunter about 8 a.m. in the morning.
The thickness of the trunk of the maple tree impressed itself on my memory
.
I took a snapshot of colored maples in the garden under bamboo blind from
the Honjin hallway.
We went up stone steps to Shiroyama.
When we came over the hillside in the afternoon, the glow of colored leaves
caught my eye.
