Botanical Gardens Faculty of Science Osaka City University

I visited "Botanical Gardens Faculty of Science Osaka City University" on May 5, 2006

Accordeing to the pamphlet it takes 6 minutes on foot from Keihan-Kisaichi station.

The spot of Acer insulare is designated on the following garden map by red circle.

Besides Acer insulare, I enjoyed observing many maples
such as Acer pictum (mono), japonicum, sieboldianum, rufinerve, nipponicum,
pycnanthum, carpinifolium
and amoenum as well as many kinds of cultivated species.

At first, I will show you tree shape of Acer insulare.

Next, trunks.

Then, let me show you its branches with leaves and seed.
