"Glowing maple in the evening sun" at Enmeiji temple
in Kawachi-nagano City Osaka Pref.

I visited Enmeiji temple in Kawachi-nagano city Osaka Pref. and saw a maple tree
known as "Sekisho momiji (Glowing maple in the evening sun)" on May 6, 2006.

On the periphery of the precincts are many old maple trees 15 to 20 meters tall.

There is a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

Most of the maples are Acer palmatum.

There did I find "Sekisho momiji" designated as a natural monument by Osaka Pref.

The trunk is divided into two directions.

The trunk is divided, the left part is toward west, the right part is toward north.

On the upper side of the right part overhang north there is a large crack holding small plants.

When walking around the precincts, you can enjoy forest bath of maples.

The color of new green is so beautiful & glaring in the morning sun.

What kind of scene can we enjoy in the colorful autumn season?

Well, please enjoy the forest bath of new green maples.
