From the end of October to the beginning of November,
it will be the
best season for maple viewing near the mountains of
1000 meters above sea
level in the Chubu Central District.
On Oct.18 I went to Mt . Chausu Highland about 1200m above sea level.
It seemed it would become the best autumn colors in a week or so.

Autumn color of Kohauchiwa kaede (Acer sieboldianum)
Thin red color of Komine kaede (Acer micranthum)
We have a distant view of mountains of the South Alps seeing northern east.
When we came to the south of Mt. Chausu the sun was obscured by clouds.
We had a distant view of east direction.
Yellow leaves are those of Hitotsuba kaede (Acer distylum).
When we came down to Mennoki Park, the sky became blue at last.
