At the border between Shizuoka Pref.and Yamanashi Pref. is located Abe Pass which is frequently reputed among photographers. It is on Umegashima-toyooka Rindou(forest road). On the Yamanashi side there are 3 shutter points of 1100, 1300 and1400 meters above sea level. Photographers crowd around a maple tree at the point of 1300 meters. Why ?

Because at the back of the tree there is Mt. Fuji.
