It is at the end of October, mountains whose height above sea level are about 1000m in Central Japan are at their best in Autumn colors. I went to The Shirabiso Highlands on Oct.30 in 1999. It is about 1800m above sea level. Some trees have already lost their leaves. We could really enjoy brilliant Autumn colors.
